What Type of Items Do You Accept?
We accept gently worn or new designer and luxury-brand clothing, handbags, shoes, and accessories. Items must be clean, in excellent condition, and on-trend or timeless. Think Chanel, Gucci, Zimmerman, ALC, and similar.
Ideal items include:
- Designer brands
- Contemporary labels
- Clean, in-season pieces
- Fashion sneakers, boots, and luxury heels
- Handbags, jewelry, and accessories in excellent condition
- New with tags or worn once
- Vintage & hard-to-find items
What Type of Items Do You NOT Accept?
- Fast fashion brands (e.g., Shein, Fashion Nova)
- Well-worn or dated styles
- Items with damage, stains, or pilling
- Out-of-season coats, swimsuits, etc.
- Items without clear labels, sizing or brand information

How Do We Price Each Item?
At Upcycle Haus, our goal is to sell your items quickly without sacrificing value. Here’s how pricing works:
Initial Pricing
We set your items at competitive, data-driven prices based on:
✔ Brand demand
✔ Item condition
✔ Current resale market trends
Strategic Adjustments
If an item doesn’t sell within the first 30–45 days, we may lower the price by 10–20% to keep it moving.
We’ll continue gradual markdowns every 30 days until the agreed consignment term ends.
Unsold Items
At the end of your consignment period, you choose:
✅ Take items back
✅ Approve deeper discounts
✅ Donate them (on your behalf)
This pricing strategy ensures your items stay competitive—and sell as quickly as possible—while still maximizing your payout.
How Much Will I Be Paid?
You’ll earn a percentage of the final sale price based on the item’s value. We’ll walk you through our tiered commission structure during intake, and there are no upfront fees. Typically it's a 60/40% split (60% to consignor) but there are variables that might affect commission splits.
When Will I Be Paid?
You’ll receive a payout once your item sells and the return window (if applicable) has closed. We issue payments monthly via your preferred method.
Can I Track My Consigned Items?
Absolutely! Once your items are entered into our system, you’ll receive a detailed inventory list. From there, you can:
✔ Track the status of each piece (listed, sold, or pending)
✔ See pricing and platforms where your items are listed
✔ Monitor payouts as sales happen
We keep it transparent so you always know where your fashion—and your earnings—stand.
What Happens to Items That Do Not Sell?
We can either re-list it for you, make adjustments to the price, offer to give your items back to you or donate them.
What's Your Return Policy?
All sales are final on Upcycle Haus. However, we take an active role in each and every purchase made to ensure both the buyer and seller have a great experience. A buyer may open a case with us if they don't receive their item or the item they receive is not as described within the listing.
If the buyer receives an item that is not as described within the listing, is sent the wrong item, or is in some other way not as described, the buyer can report their problem to us within 3 days of delivery. If the return is verified, we assist the buyer in returning the item to the seller and offer them a full refund.
What's Your Shipping Policy?

Here's how we protect your items:
- All orders over $300 are insured.
- Signature confirmation is required for high-value shipments.
- We only use trusted carriers: USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
- Tracking numbers are provided with every shipment.
- Items are packaged discreetly to reduce theft risk.
- We photograph each item and its packaging before shipment.
- Clients shipping to us may use our prepaid insured label.
Are Your Items Authentic?
Absolutely. Every designer piece we sell is verified for authenticity. We only accept and list genuine, high-end items that meet our quality standards.
What Condition Are Your Items In?
All items are either like new, new with tags, new without tags or gently worn. We provide clear photos and honest descriptions so you know exactly what you're getting.
How Long Does Shipping Take?
Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days. Once your order is on its way, we’ll email you a tracking number so you can follow your delivery.
Do You Offer Local Pickup or Delivery?
Yes! If you're local, choose the Local Pickup option at checkout. We’ll contact you to coordinate a pickup time. In some cases, we may even offer local delivery.
